On the top side of the pedigree is Sir Caletto, he himself a combination of 2 international show jumping super stars—Sandro and Caletto I. Both stallions are Holsteiner approved Hanoverians. The bottom side of the pedigree is equally impressive. Shanel and Sashimi’s dam, EM Sayonara (registered name Samonie) was selected and imported by Glenwood Farms and sold to the Silverhorne program. In 1999 the mare was presented to the AHS for her Mare Performance Test where she best a very large field of mares to be named Champion of her testing. Performance Test she was awarded a 8.0! EM Sayonara was selected for the N. American Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program patterned after the Program Hannoveraner Springferdezucht in Germany.
